On January 2, 2020, the 黑料吃瓜资源 (CSHL) Cancer Center became the 100th member of the (AACI), joining other academic and freestanding cancer research centers in the United States and Canada.
鈥淭he CSHL Cancer Center is excited to join the AACI and partner with cancer centers across North America to help ensure cancer discoveries are translated to the clinic,鈥 said Director of the CSHL Cancer Center David Tuveson.
The CSHL Cancer Center is a basic research facility committed to exploring the fundamental biology of human cancer. With support from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) since 1987, CSHL researchers have used a focused, multi-disciplinary approach to break new ground in basic tumor biology and develop innovative, advanced technologies.
AACI is dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer by enhancing the impact of academic cancer centers, promoting widespread recognition of the cancer center network, facilitating interaction among the centers, and more. 鈥淎ACI is excited to welcome 黑料吃瓜资源 as our newest member,鈥 said AACI Executive Director Jennifer W. Pegher. 鈥淲ith its strong collaborative environment and multidisciplinary approach to cancer research, CSHL will bring a unique perspective to our membership.鈥
