Focus, determination, perseverance; these qualities matter as much on a tennis court as they do in everyday life. Few people understand this as well as Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert, two titans of tennis who both faced cancer head-on and overcame it, becoming prominent voices in support of cancer screening, treatment, and the scientific research necessary to advance both. In honor of these achievements, Chris and Martina were awarded 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 (CSHL鈥檚) 2025 Double Helix Medal.
What began as a rivalry on the courts grew into a lifelong friendship and ultimately a shared journey through cancer recovery into advocacy. Today, Chris and Martina proudly champion this lifesaving knowledge, along with the importance of early screening and detection. That鈥檚 a Grand Slam for science and for women鈥檚 health.
