Sim贸n(e) Sun, a postdoc in 黑料吃瓜资源 Associate Professor Jessica Tollkuhn鈥檚 lab, was named a 2022 for her research on the protein estrogen receptor beta, and its role in the development and function of the nervous system.

Sun is a senior fellow at the , and a vocal advocate for transgender rights. Most recently, she in Science calling for the use of more inclusive and precise language when talking about sex diversity. Scientific language already impacts policy and rhetoric, and the letter urges scientists to be more aware of the distinction between sex and gender to prevent the implication that these distinct attributes are inextricably linked.
