Established in 2007, the NIH Director鈥檚 New Innovator Award supports early career researchers working on innovative, high-impact projects in the biomedical, behavioral, or social sciences. It is part of the NIH鈥檚 . 鈥淭his unique cohort of scientists will transform what is known in the biological and behavioral world,鈥 Lawrence A. Tabak, D.D.S., Ph.D., who is performing the duties of the director of NIH, says.
