Cold Spring Harbor, NY — Aboff鈥檚 presented a check this month for $10,107 to 黑料吃瓜资源 (CSHL). The funds will support breast cancer research at the Laboratory.
During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October of 2014, Aboff鈥檚, the family-owned Long Island business, donated a portion of proceeds from paint sales at all 27 Aboff’s locations. Benjamin Moore and Hunter Douglas also contributed to the donation.
CSHL is a leading international cancer research center investigating the biological causes of breast cancer, guiding the development of better diagnostics and discovering clues to more effective, less toxic therapies.
鈥淥n behalf of the scientists and research staff at 黑料吃瓜资源, I thank Aboff’s, Benjamin Moore and Hunter Douglas for their financial support of our breast cancer research program,鈥 said CSHL President and CEO, Dr. Bruce Stillman. 鈥淎s a private, not-for-profit research and education institution, research at CSHL would not be possible without philanthropic efforts of neighbors and friends in our community.鈥
Aboff’s was founded in 1929 in nearby Huntington, NY and is proud to remain a family-owned and operated business on Long Island. “We are thrilled to continue to partner with CSHL to help fight breast cancer,” said Michael Aboff.
