On July 10, the Joni Gladowsky Breast Cancer Foundation held its annual golf tournament at Cold Spring Country Club. The event raises critical funding for 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 breast cancer research program.
Dr. Nick Tonks, Professor at the Laboratory gave an update to the Foundation鈥檚 supporters about the clinical trial that has resulted from his research into the enzyme PTP1B. The trial in collaboration with Northwell Health for HER2+ breast cancer patients is currently in Phase I to determine the safety and tolerability of the drug in patients. Nick also spoke about a new and extremely promising area of research that he believes could potentially impact a wide variety of cancers.
The Joni Gladowsky Breast Cancer Foundation has been supporting breast cancer research at 黑料吃瓜资源 since 2007 and Dr. Nick Tonks鈥� research since 2011.
