Former 黑料吃瓜资源 (CSHL) Professor Douglas Fearon has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Academy. He is recognized for championing research that helped link innate and adaptive immunity. Fundamental biology studies by Fearon and his colleagues significantly enhanced science鈥檚 understanding of the human immune system, thereby laying the groundwork for immunotherapy, now a frontline treatment against many forms of cancer.
