黑料吃瓜资源 (CSHL) has received the Long Island Business Development Council鈥檚 2025 Business Award. The distinction recognizes CSHL鈥檚 role as a regional economic driver and beacon of discovery, innovation, and community development. CSHL was nominated by the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) and the Nassau County Local Economic Development Assistance Corporation (NCLEAC).
鈥淭he award highlights not only our scientific excellence but also the strength of our long-standing partnership with Nassau County,鈥� says CSHL Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Milowski. 鈥淭hrough more than $177 million in financing, NCIDA and NCLEAC have supported our growth鈥攆rom the Woodbury Genome Center to new research buildings to major infrastructure improvements. These collaborations are accelerating our initiatives in fields like neuroscience and AI while strengthening the regional economy.鈥�
With support from the NCIDA and NCLEAC, CSHL鈥檚 Foundations for the Future expansion program will provide the necessary resources and infrastructure to fuel the Laboratory鈥檚 cutting-edge biomedical research. The project is expected to strengthen the local workforce and economy.
Founded in 1969, the works to enhance the local economy, create new jobs, and help build a viable future for Long Island鈥檚 young talent. The Business Award is presented annually at the Council鈥檚 Economic Development Conference.
