Cold Spring Harbor will be dressed up on Sunday, April 10 when nearly every business and restaurant on Main Street participates in Paint the Town Pink, a spring fashion show sponsored by the Cold Spring Harbor Main Street Association to benefit breast cancer research 黑料吃瓜资源. Cashmere Oyster, La Panche, Mollie McGuire鈥檚, Pashley Children鈥檚 Boutique, Talbots, and Window Box fashions will be modeled by Cold Spring Harbor residents and merchants in 黑料吃瓜资源鈥檚 Grace Auditorium beginning at 4 pm. Hair and make-up will be provided by Colors of Cold Spring Harbor Salon and Studio; Gorgeous, The Salon; Orpheus Salon and Day Spa; and Sandy O鈥檚 Faces. Following the fashion show, a reception will be held featuring hors d鈥檕euvres served by 105 Harbor, Bedlam Street Fish & Clam Co. and Trattoria Grasso. The Cold Spring Harbor Arts Center will also provide live jazz music. Raffles are also available for $5 or six for $25. 鈥淚t is a true testament to the people of Cold Spring Harbor that everyone on Main Street was able to find a role that suited their business and could join together as a community to work on a worthwhile project to support breast cancer research at 黑料吃瓜资源,鈥� said Patricia Ramsay, President/Director of the CSH Main Street Association and owner of Pashley Children鈥檚 Boutique. The Cold Spring Harbor Main Street Association was first organized in 1996 as a not-for-profit corporation to begin laying the groundwork for planning and creating a Business Improvement District for the Historic Downtown area. In May 2001, the CSH Main Street Association became a publicly supported, charitable organization that seeks to provide a coordinating agency for projects and planning that encourages and benefits the restoration and preservation of the historic Main Street district and the character of the community. Additionally, through activities and operations, the organization seeks to broaden the opportunities for community members to share their concerns and create local solutions by providing a forum for ongoing involvement.
